We are a group of families and singles, young and old, who have found the way out of addictions (physical and mental) and the “bondage of self” through living a spiritual program. We now find freedom, joy, and fulfillment in a daily search for God’s will in our lives, as it is revealed to us through truth-telling, prayer, and shared experience.
We are striving to travel the path of highest human endeavor: what has been known throughout history, in innumerable times and places, as “the Way.” The ultimate goal of the Way is total union with God. One day at a time, we strive through shared study, discussion, prayer, work, and recreation to help one another on this most fascinating, demanding, and exciting of journeys.
Our way of life is rooted in the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous, as adapted for everybody, the Four Absolutes of the Oxford Group, and the Ten Practical Points.
On these pages, you can read accounts of how some of us got into this way of life. You can read about techniques for prayer, “the art of arts and science of sciences.” You can find excerpts from the words and writings of some of our favorite teachers and authors. And we will share regular updates on the day-to-day activities of our group.
